Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario District 2025 Conference Report
The 94th Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario District Conference of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada was held April 22-24, 2025, at Calvary Temple, Winnipeg and was graciously hosted by Rev. Adam Browett and team. The conference was chaired by District Superintendent, Rev. Andrew Porterfield. The PAOC International Office was represented by Rev. Craig Burton.
All in attendance were encouraged by the ministry of our guest speakers Rev. Darcy and Rev. Leanne McAlister, who spoke in the 4 sessions. During the evening service on Wednesday, April 23, Rev. Bright Nsiah received his designation of Ordained Minister. Rev. Bruce & Miriam Martin and Rev. Henry and Jeanne Schulz were recognized for 50 years of faithful ministry with the PAOC and received a framed certificate from the PAOC International Office.
There was a time to celebrate and honour Rev. Andrew and Jo-Ann Porterfield for 8 years of faithfully serving the district as Superintendent, and Rev. Dan and Nadine Murphy for their 8 years of faithful service as the Assistant District Superintendent for Mission.
Also honored during the conference was Rev. Clarence Mitchell for his retirement after completing 24 years of ministry with PAOC Stewardship Services.
The conference concluded with a ministry session which included a reading of credential holders who have gone to be with the Lord followed by a time of communion and prayer.

Assistant Superintendent for Mission Rev. Michael Fischer (4 years)
The following Presbyters were elected:
Westman Rev. Mike Gordon (2 years)
Central Rev. Drew Martin (2 years)
Parkland-North Rev. Reg Rivett (2 years)
Rev. Mike Gordon was elected to serve as the General Executive Member- at-Large Nominee.
